How To Rank Number One On Google

Remember HTML (Language of Hypertext Markup)? The language for coding that serves as the basis for all web development? Well, when you’re interested in creating websites, if HTML is the first language you’ll want to master, its companion CSS is a secondary concern.

What is CSS? Definition:

CSS stands for Cascading Style Sheets. It is the language of the style sheet that is used to define the look and format of a document written in the markup language.

It provides HTML with an additional feature. To alter the layout of web pages and user interfaces, it is commonly used with HTML.

It can also be used for XML documents of any kind, like plain XML, SVG, and XUL.

On most websites, CSS is used along with HTML and JavaScript to create web application user interfaces and user interfaces for many mobile applications.

How Does CSS Work?

Both CSS files are written as sheets of style. A style sheet tells the web browser how the document being displayed should be made.

One important idea about CSS to consider is that all style sheets are cascading. At least one style sheet is added to each web page, even though there are no styles applied by the designer.

The default styles that the browser adds are found in the stylesheet of the User-Agent.

HTML elements have those default types, as the browser specifies. For example, heading elements and containing elements usually span the page, while links sit in line without splitting text.

There is one default font and some spacing for readability is applied to each feature. Anything more needs CSS than that.

The browser needs to know which ones are added first if the designer wishes to add styles to the text. Cascading refers to the order in which the document’s styles are applied.

The browser can, however, read them in the order specified to “paint” the page layout. The lower down listed styles override those above them.

When defining styles for an aspect, an additional rule of thumb is that specificity wins. Less unique types will override more particular ones.

A style applied to (body, for example, is less precise than one applied to (h1 {..}), which is a particular feature of the body. The h1 form overrides the style of the body.

It is safer to refer to a different style sheet in most situations, as a single style sheet is much simpler to handle than many inline types.

Instead of editing countless HTML documents, you can have an infinite number of documents that connect to a single style sheet, which makes editing styles far more efficient. For someone who wants to edit your documents in the future, it also makes the process much simpler.

External, Internal, or Inline CSS?

You may be wondering how to actually apply this CSS code to HTML text, though. Much like HTML, via a text editor or word processor on your computer, CSS is written in clear, plain text, and there are three key ways to add the CSS code to your HTML pages.

External, internal, or inline CSS code (or Style Sheets) can be used. External style sheets are stored as .css files and can be used in one file to decide the layout of an entire website (rather than adding individual instances of CSS code to every HTML element you want to adjust).

Your .html files need to have a header section that links to the external style sheet to use an external style sheet, which looks something like this:

<link rel=” stylesheet” type=”text/css” href=mysitestyle.css”>

This links the .html file to the external style sheet (in this case, mysitestyle.css) and then applies all of the CSS instructions in that file to the linked .html pages.

Internal style sheets are guidelines for CSS that are inserted directly into the header of a particular page in .html. (This is particularly useful if you have a single page that looks special on a site.) Anything like this looks like an internal style sheet.

Body { background-color:thistle;  }

P {font-size:20px; color:medium blue;  }

. . . You can now apply a thistle background color and paragraphs with 20-point, medium blue font to this single .html page.

After this, inline styles are CSS excerpts done clearly into HTML code and are only relevant to a single instance of coding. For instance:

WHAT IS CSS (CASCADING STYLE SHEET) | WEB DEVELOPMENT Cotonou Benin republic<h1 style=”font-size:40px; color:violet;”>Check out this headline!</h1>

On a single .html tab, it would cause one unique headline to appear in violet, 40-point font.

Broadly speaking, the most effective approach for implementing CSS on a website is external style sheets (it is easier to keep track of and enforce the style of a site from a dedicated CSS file), whereas internal style sheets and inline style can be used on a case-by-case basis when it is appropriate to make individual style changes.

So, if HTML is your website’s base, frames, walls, and girders, consider CSS the color of the paint, window designs, and landscaping that comes on afterward.

Without putting the base up first, you can’t get anywhere, so you’ll want to follow up with a certain style once you do, and CSS is the ticket to releasing your inner designer.

Why CSS?

In a web designer’s arsenal, CSS is one of the most important tools. You can dramatically change the whole atmosphere and user experience of a website with it.

Any other benefits that you can find using CSS are- Freedom to put HTML elements on a web page anywhere while allowing you to keep your markup (HTML) clean and organized.-

Ability to adjust for discrepancies in the way browsers make a web page- Endless web page customization options including fonts, colors, borders, hover and transition effects, etc.

how to optimize your youtube videos 2021

how to optimize your youtube videos 2021

Video marketing is an important factor to implement into the digital marketing strategy, with 63 percent of all Internet users regularly watching YouTube.

Most companies generate videos and upload them to this common website.

YouTube search engine optimization (SEO) is crucial to help the videos thrive with an abundance of companies uploading videos.

It has its own SEO best practices since YouTube is its own search engine.

You want to get your videos high up on the YouTube SERPs, just as you want to get your blog high up on the SERPs.

YouTube SEO is a little different from standard SEO, and getting used to it could take a little while.

I’ve built a list of strategies that will provide you with the exposure you need on YouTube to help make it easier for you.

1. Find video keywords

YouTube keywords are a little different from keywords that appear on search engines such as Google or Bing.

You will also see YouTube keywords, for example, which begin with how to.”

To check for various keywords in your niche, Brian Dean suggests using Google. Then see if video outcomes are brought up by some keywords.

For starters, you’ll see a lot of video results if you search for how to make apple pie,” and at least one is from YouTube.

2. Publish a video with high-retention

There’s a reality here:

You need to keep people watching if you want to rank your videos.

The sum of your video watched by individuals is known as Viewer Retention.

“And YouTube went on the record saying that a HUGE ranking factor is “Audience Retention. YouTube to quote:

That is, in other words:

YouTube would rate your video higher in the search results if your video keeps people on YouTube.

(YouTube needs viewers to remain on the website, after all so they click on advertising. And they will support your video if you help them with that objective).

3. Customize your thumbnails

The thumbnails of your video are like the cover of a book. People are going to judge your thumbnail video.

To click on your video, you need to create a thumbnail that entices your audience.

You should create a customized thumbnail if you want to see the best results.

Many companies produce a thumbnail from a portion of their video on YouTube. It’s not helping you build interest in your videos.

You have power over catching the attention of your audience by producing a custom thumbnail.

You can make a thumbnail that will interest them and entice them to watch your video.

It will allow your video to perform better and gain more views, which will increase your SEO rating on YouTube.

4. Use strong CTAs (calls to action)

You need to include a Call to Action (CTA) inside them when you make your videos.

A CTA is important because it informs viewers what the next thing you want them to do.

You want them to subscribe to your channel after viewers watch your video. They may not know or may not be concerned about how to subscribe.

That is why the incorporation of a CTA into the end of your video is critical.

When you gain subscribers after people watch your video, it boosts your video rating. It is a perfect way to boost your SEO on YouTube.

5. Run Promotions for your videos

You need to encourage them if you want your videos to be popular.

On YouTube and through some Google searches, people can come across your videos, but you need to generate traffic in other ways.

In different ways, you can promote your videos.

By searching on Q&A pages, one way to promote your videos is.

These platforms are also used by people to ask questions about subjects or concepts that they don’t understand.

For you, this is a chance to answer their questions and promote your videos.

For more understanding, you can share your experience and inspire these people to check out your videos. It’s a perfect way for your videos to attract more traffic.

Videos can also be attached to your emails.

You don’t need to make it the star of your email, but somewhere in your email, you can add a link to your video.

If people thoroughly read your emails, they will check out the link to your videos.

Social media is a perfect place to post videos. For uploading and sharing videos, these sites are excellent.

By sharing these videos with your social media followers, you will garner more views and followers.

Embedding videos on your website and your blog is also best practice.

This allows you to push traffic to your YouTube page from your blog.

So, you’ll want to encourage them if you want to make your videos work better.

6. Be consistent

You need to be consistent with the uploading of your videos if you want to boost your YouTube SEO.

You want to keep your subscribers engaged in your videos and involved with them.

Consistency is crucial because it builds your audience loyalty.

You will keep them interested in your videos and come back to watch them.

You need to be consistent because when you are going to post new videos, your audience knows.

Every day, week or month, you’ll want to stick to posting at the same time.

You need to adhere to the plan if you intend to post videos every Wednesday at 9 a.m.

For your audience, it will help create a routine and they will know when to expect videos.

You will boost your YouTube SEO and keep your viewers entertained by being consistent. It’s a perfect way to build up your list of subscribers to watch your videos and keep your subscribers coming back.

7. Optimize your tags

One of the best SEO features that YouTube offers is tagging.

Tagging enables you to enter important keywords that help to get more views of your images.

Using tags for your subject that are super appropriate.

This is a great chance to use LSI keywords that are connected to your keyword of emphasis.

Don’t use a lot of names. About 10 to 12 is sufficient.

8. Tell people to comment and Subscribe

If there are a lot of comments on your videos, that tells YouTube that your videos are famous.

YouTube prioritizes content that’s common, just like Google. Comments are one of the metrics used by YouTube to determine what individuals like the most.

Ending your video with a question to get a conversation started is a good idea.

Also, on YouTube, subscribing is a huge deal.

It is one of the variables used by YouTube’s algorithms to rate images.

It’s a one-time activity to like or comment on a video, but subscribing means individuals can see your content on a regular basis.

That’s a giant factor for YouTube that represents the amount of value you have.

Pro tip: Many YouTubers ask people all at once to like, comment, and subscribe. If you emphasize one of those metrics, however, concentrate on promoting subscriptions.

All right, so I hope this guide has helped show you how to rate your videos on YouTube.

I would like to hear from you now:

Online Success for Small and Medium-size Business

When most people begin any kind of business they seem to have a lot of expectations. They think the money will come rolling the moment they place their ads, get a webpage, or spend on advertising and a promotion campaign, etc. If you have a business you pretty much can tell that that is not necessarily the case. However, this particular article I am going to dedicate to Internet business. I figure, you are online reading this article right now, maybe you may want to learn a little bit more about how to sell your products or services online.

By the way, don’t think because you are a construction worker for example, that the internet could not be of use to you. You get a little creative and you’ll be surprised with the ideas that can come about that could help you generate income online. But let’s continue with the article, shall we?

I am not going to deny the fact that a lot of profit can be generated in short periods of time. It has happened in the past and will keep happening in the future. There is an old saying, “There’s nothing more powerful than an idea whose time has come!”

In other words, you can have a very lucrative idea, but the market is not ready for it, therefore you may end up losing your investment just to find out months later that that very same idea becomes a huge success for someone else. Basically, being at the right place at the right time certainly helps. And you will ALWAYS be at the right place and the right time if you listen to your heart. To the guiding Spirit within.

Then, of course, there is the other side of the coin. Having a great idea, being at the right place at the right time, but not being able to capitalize on it. Well, this is what this article is going to address. We are going to explore the reasons why people buy! And I am going to dissect each topic briefly so you can have a much deeper understanding as to how all of the following pieces of the puzzle fit together.

Check out this article on what is Marketing and also strategies that help your business grow faster.

First, I am going to address the importance of the word VALUE. When you have something to offer where there is an open market for it, and more than likely there is a demand for your product, your efforts revolve around advertising. If what you are advertising is being offered by other businesses, then you have what is called competition.

Online Success for Small and Medium-size Business

That being the case, you have to be able to create an urgency for people to buy from you, otherwise you could lose your potential customers to your competition, not because their’s are necessarily better. But because of the fact that not everyone buys on the first visit. Sometimes customers need a little bit of time before they make a decision. So if you already exposed them to what you have to offer and later on they see the same product on someone else’s site, they may be ready at that moment to purchase. They may end up ordering from someone else that product or service which you took the time to educate them in the first place.

Since internet surfers are what’s called impulse buyers, you got to be prepared so that when a potential customer visits your site, she/he is ready to make the decision at that moment!

If you are advertising a videotape that teaches people how to market products online, you need to figure out ways to increase the “VALUE” of what you have to offer. You need to answer questions such as;

  • Why is your video better than the rest?
  • What is in your video that you feel would make someone say, “I want this!”
  • What are they gaining from ordering?

Since the beginning of time, marketing is all about figuring out ways to sell people on the idea that if they acquire whatever is you have to offer, they will “gain” something from it. If you have been subscribed to a few newsletters and have read marketing articles, they summarize what I have just said in one word. BENEFITS. If from the very beginning you can point out what is it that your visitors will gain from your product or services, you increase dramatically the value of your product.

This is not the only way to add value to your product. But this is the best way to establish rapport and generate interest. So you must always begin by letting them know how your product or service is going to make them feel, or improve their life, or help them win, etc.

Once you have been able to add value to your product or service, honesty, integrity, and credibility play a very important role. Maybe right at the moment of purchase, depending on how much your asking price is, they may wonder, “how do I know this person knows what she’s talking about?”

So how do you add integrity? If you are an expert on something, can you tell me about your experience? Do you walk your talk? Does your site reflect what you talk about? For example, don’t go telling me how using frames and JAVA language can work against search engine placements and how bad they are for me, meanwhile, your site uses both, JAVA and frames. To me it means one of two things, you don’t know what you are talking about and therefore just passing along what others have told you, or there is something you know that you are not telling me.

See also the reason why having the best logo designs help drive customers to your site…

The Importance of Logo design | Cotonou Benin Republic

Does that mean that if you do not have a great resume people won’t buy from you? Absolutely NOT! Your resume could be your website. Here is what I mean, if someone visits your site and you don’t have a degree as a nutritionist, but your site is filled with very convincing articles and valuable information that shows that you know what you are talking about, that is enough to add credibility.

Let me take it one step further, and if you create a compelling sales letter, you can have your visitor so engaged in the information that she/he won’t even bother to figure who you are, or what you do. However, to pull that off, you must offer a product that has great value, and if possible, money back guaranteed!

All you need to do is to come from a place of honesty and service, and as long as you can show credible ways in which your product will benefit your market, you should be able to sell your product(s) and/or service(s) online.

So you have something of value and you have been able to gain credibility. What can you do to add more substance to your product or service?

Let’s say you are giving a speech and want to quote an article regarding your subject matter which you have written on a piece of paper, if you hold the paper and read the words from it, it holds more credibility than if you were merely saying the words. Why that is? I don’t know. But that is just one of those interesting mysteries we come across every once in a while.

So by having someone saying something positive about your product or service, it helps add credibility which in turn helps also increase the value of what you are offering.

What we have done so far is, we have strategically created leverage. We have given a solid foundation as to why people not only should but must obtain whatever it is you are offering. Assuming that you are placing all these strategies in the RIGHT ORDER, positive results should be way within your reach.

So what makes people buy is:

  • The Value-Benefits (What am I gaining from this.)
  • Value-Honesty (How do I know this is true.)
  • And also, Value-Endorsements (What others have to say about this.)

Notice that I used the word “value” along with every example because the value is what people consider before obtaining anything. Benefits, honesty, and integrity as well as endorsements, even when each plays a role in itself, all have one thing in common. They “add value” to your product.
